Live Wellbeing Sessions

We hold wellbeing sessions most months, these are advertised via the Facebook group or email, more details below.

New Recoding: Compassion Fatigue
Watch the recording here: https://pact-course.thinkific.com/courses/wellbeing-series-compassion

As trainers we often find ourselves supporting clients who are facing challenging or stressful circumstances. We can quickly become an emotional support for our clients, and when we find ourselves in this position a lot, it can lead to feeling physically and mentally exhausted. Sometimes this can lead to “compassion fatigue”: when you begin to feel less caring towards or not wanting to support others. Common feelings associated with compassion fatigue are:
• Reduced motivation
• Losing confidence in your abilities at work
• Frustration, irritability or anger
• Lack of enjoyment in your work
• Exhaustion
If you’re feeling this way, then you are not alone! Join Lucy and Corrin as they explore together the common causes of compassion fatigue, how to prevent this and how to manage when these feelings arise.

Next Live Session for Members: Fear of failure
September 15th 6-7pm
Book your place via https://www.tickettailor.com/events/pactdogsltd/1828266

Stepping into something new — whether it’s launching a class, picking up studies, promoting yourself or sharing your work online there are lots of unknowns -  can feel daunting! Questions creep in: Will anyone come? Will anyone like my post on social media? It can be very disheartening and demotivating if something doesn’t go to plan, especially after pouring in time and energy. But what if, by letting fear hold us back, we’re also missing out on the pride, joy, and success that could come our way? Join us for this wellbeing session where we’ll explore the emotions that often accompany fear of failure and starting something new, and discover practical ways to work with those feelings so they don’t stand in our way.

Future Live Session: Self-Worth in dog training
October 23rd 18:00 - 19:00 BST
Book you place via https://www.tickettailor.com/events/pactdogsltd/1828292

As dog trainers and behaviourists, we pour our time, energy and emotions into helping both dogs and their humans — yet it’s easy to wonder, Am I doing enough? Am I good enough? Am I making a difference? From comparing ourselves to others in the field to questioning the value we bring, self-doubt can quietly erode our confidence.
In this wellbeing session, we’ll explore how self-worth shapes the way we work, connect, and care for ourselves. Together, we’ll look at practical ways to quiet the inner critic, celebrate the impact we have, and recognise that our worth goes far beyond the number of clients, likes, or success stories.
